Tysso Zenis POS Terminal

Tysso have now launched the much anticipated Zenis POS terminal which not only has an outstanding specification but also is available in a range of colours to match the new modern store decor.

The Tysso Zenis pos terminal has available various configurations suitable for a variety of market sectors.The stylish exterior has a piano gloss finish and a small footprint which provides an elegant look without taking up valuable counter selling space. The 15″ touch screen monitor can be tilted 5 to 90 degrees to adjust for the ideal operator angle to deliver fast transaction input at the point of sale.The robust case is complemented by a strong aluminium base and grid design to provide efficient heat dissipation.

The system supports a wide choice of processors and memory configurations including the new Intel Atom N270, Celeron M, Core Duo and Core 2 Duo which means it can cope with the most demanding processing and graphical requirements.OS support includes Linux,POS ready,XP pro, Vista and Win7.

The Zenis pos terminal also has an impressive range of connectivity options with 8 x USB 2.0, 3x serial and 1 x parallel ports for a wide variety of peripherals, As well as the customer display options the Zenis supports 3 track magnetic card reader,RJ11 cash drawer, keyboard, mouse and WiFi.

The options for customer display suit both retail and hospitality environment.

The bar manager and staff use Dallas keys to log on to the system so with the easy to use touch screen operation makes the operation fast and efficient in the busy peak trading periods. Poswsye software also allows different price structures for members and special functions to meet the needs of the club.

Each member may have a club card which has the membership number encoded on to the magnetic stripe which is used with the Tysso POS terminal integrated card reader. This means all member food and drink sales are easily recorded on the system.

The highly anticipated Core 2 Duo POS terminal, the POS 8000, delivers greater performance than any other model in the Tysso range. This powerful touch screen POS terminal with its newly developed small footprint base is ideal for busy retail and hospitality environments.

The 2 Core Duo processors offer improved graphics and increased I/O bandwidth, improved storage speed and reliability which means the POS 8000 terminal is ideal for POS applications which utilise the dual screen capability for product promotions.

The smart fan feature provides a quiet and steady POS operation. If necessary the fan will speed up for cooling down or if the current temperature reaches the minimum threshold the fan will slow down to keep the temperature stable.

The POS 8000 terminal has superb connectivity capability which means it will support a wide range of POS peripherals. As well as 3 serial ports,6 -USB ports and a parallel port the POS 8000 also has a cash drawer port which is selectable to drive both 12v and 24 volt cash drawers.

The POS 8000 is also available with 12″ and 17″ Touch screens and supports a 2nd LCD screen. Options also include VFD 2line customer display, MSR and WiFi.

The POS 8000 terminal supports Windows XP, WEPOS, VISTA and linux operating systems making it a very versatile solution for a wide variety of market sectors.
