IPOS install new Club EPOS system with member smart card solution for Kings Langley Services Club
Kings Langley Services Club are a long established members club who decided to invest in a new EPOS solution using the very latest IPOS Club system technology.
The solution uses Poswyse software that takes full advantage of the new Tysso Zenis touch screen pos terminal with 2nd customer screen and also contactless smart card readers for the new club member system.
New features requested by the club were included in Poswyse Software which is developed by ECR Concepts Software as part of the project.
The advantage of the Zenis POS terminal with customer screen means members can see a detailed list of drinks purchased and also when the POS terminal is not being operated a rolling display of adverts is shown to customers. Kings Langley Services Club take full advantage of this option as they can sell the advertising space to local businesses to provide an extra revenue stream.
The use of contactless smart card readers also means the transaction process is very quick to identify a member sale and is much more reliable than using magnetic swipe cards. Poswyse software is designed to automatically switch to member prices when the card is presented to the reader.
Poswyse software also uses a system called ‘transaction pipe’ which updates the sales information in real-time after each transaction. This means accurate, up to date sales data is available on the back office computer which shows each members, group sales including function sales data.
