Tysso are now manufacturing the new PPC-5700 series Panel POS PC with an innovative design which includes an all-in-one touch screen terminal and an omni-directional laser bar code scanner.

The design allows a wide range of options which means the terminal may be configured for applications which include retail EPOS, convenience store, supermarket, warehouse and factory automation.

The Tysso PPC-5715 model includes a 15″ touch screen, high performance Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processor and an omni-directional laser scanner.

The Tysso PPC-5715 terminal supports various operating systems including: Win 2000,XP pro, WEPOS and Linux.

As well as the standard VESA wall mount option the PPC-5715 terminal may be pole mounted.

One of the main features of a retail EPOS scanning system is the requirement for speed and accuracy at the point of sale. The pole mount uses a telescopic spring action design so the height may be easily adjusted to optimise the scanning operation.The Metrologic omni-directional laser scanner provides an excellent scan rate with a wide range to provide the necessary speed of operation.The pole mount also allows the screen to be moved horizontally and angled to suit the best touch screen operation.

The pole mount is also available in three designs of base which fits into both retail and industrial environments.

Tysso are pleased to announce the addition of the new POS-5715-FS fanless model to the already successful 5700 series of touch screen pos terminals.

The Tysso POS-5700 series terminals operating system OSsupport includes Windows XP pro, 2000, NT, WEPOS and Linux.

The new Tysso 5715-FS is a superbly designed silent fanless touch screen terminal with a top-rated high performance Celeron M 1GHz processor which is much faster than other fanless models in the market. With TYSSO ’s superb housing design, this fanless POS terminal not only features superior heat dissipation and low energy consumption, but also delivers stable and powerful processing, which matches the requirements of any harsh environment.

The Tysso 5715-FS model will also be made available with a 2^nd LCD monitor, I-Button, MSR and WIFI.

Japan Centre have now introduced not only Take-away food like the famous Misu soup and Sushi but also included an Eat-in area which is proving to be immensely popular. The increase in customers visiting the Japan Centre at peak times has meant they have had to install a further three Tysso POS 7000 terminals to cope with the volume of business.

Poswyse Software already has the required features to cope with the different NON-VAT and VAT staus for Eat-in and Take-away food so it just meant a simple change to the touch screen layout to accommodate the new configuration.

As soon as all the ten POS terminals were operational the Ocius Chip&pin solution was added to the system. This further speeded up the transaction process at each point of sale as the Ocius Chip&pin terminals are linked directly into the Poswyse software.

The main factor with speed when processing card transactions is that with their former system the sales total amount needed to be re-entered again in to the PDQ. With the Ocius solution integrated into Poswye software the amount is automatically sent to the chip&pin terminal. This also means less errors and that the reconciliation process is also much easier.

The Verifone chip&pin terminal was positioned at each POS terminal using the Space Pole stand with a tilt feature which makes it very easy for the customer to use.
