As
an EFT authorisation system Win TI is intended for use where
authorisation of debit card and credit card payment transactions
are required at the point of sale ( EFTPOS ) or point of order
entry (mail order system, web, call centre etc). Win TI comprises
two essential elements - the front end operator module for
data entry and authorisation response handling (Win TI client)
and the core processing module responsible for transaction
authorisation verification and communications handling.
The EFT core processing module is a Windows 32 bit application
which will run on a Windows 98, NT4, 2000 or XP platform.
Integration of existing systems on any platform can
be made directly to the core module using either a socket
or a file based interface. Alternatively a full off-the-shelf
solution is available with the addition of the EFT operator
modules. The EFT operator modules are currently available
under MS DOS, or MS Windows 98, NT4, 2000 or XP and duplicate
in a software application those functions found on PDQ / Streamline
machines.

EFT POS Operator Interface - WinTI is provided
with standard operator modules for use under MS DOS or Windows
98, NT4, 2000 and XP. These modules provide EFTPOS functionality
similar to that which is provided by a traditional PDQ or
Streamline machine.

Communications Structure - WinTI supports authorisation
and electronic funds transfer ( EFT ) at both local and centralised
levels. You may choose how to implement the system to maximise
the efficiency of your existing communications infrastructure.

Communications Medium - WinTI supports authorisation
over PSTN, ISDN, Paknet and X.25 networks. Multiple channels
can be implemented up to a maximum of 32 on a single server
to offer multiple simultaneous authorisation.

Card Schemes - Card schemes supported include American
Express, Clydesdale, Visa Delta, Diners Club, Electron, JCB,
EDC/Maestro, Laser, Mastercard, Solo, Style, Switch and Visa
Credit.

EFT Merchant Service Providers - Approved for use
including American Express, Bank of Ireland, Bank of Scotland,
Barclays Merchant Services, Clydesdale Bank, Co-operative
Bank, Diners Club, Girobank, Lloyds TSB Cardnet, HSBC (Formerly
Midland Bank), Nat West Streamline, Northern Bank, Royal Bank
of Scotland, Ulster Bank and Yorkshire Bank.

Currency - WinTI offers support for all currencies
including the Euro which means you can offer a choice of payment
currency to your customers.

Integration - WinTI can be interfaced to existing
EPOS, sales order processing and Internet systems to allow
seamless background electronic funds transfer processing of
card payments or even installed as a stand alone manual key
entry system. Integration is made easy by provision of a simple
text file interface linked directly to the WinTI EFT systems
core processing module.

Management Information System - WinTI offers a
complete and comprehensive EFT reporting system that backs
up the entire lifecycle of each transaction from data input
through to delivery to the acquirer. Reports are available
to view on screen, print to hardcopy or to export to other
applications.

Multi Merchant Account Processing - WinTI offers
the flexibility to support up to 1000 merchant accounts through
one system, even if the accounts are associated with different
EFT services providers.
