Users of Commidea
WinTI and ICP socket based clients (i.e. systems that use
EFTAdmin) are advised to upgrade to the latest version of
MDAC 2.8 or apply the relevant patch. The vulnerability affects
MDAC 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7. This vulnerability does not directly
affect the operation of any of the Client / Admin or Server
software, but can allow an attacker to compromise the Windows
PC running the administration console / datastore. . Further
