Users of Commidea
WinTI and ICP socket based clients (i.e. systems that use
EFTAdmin) are advised to implement the latest patch to Microsoft
MDAC due to a discovered security vulnerability. The vulnerability
affects MDAC 2.1/2.5/2.6 IE 5.01/5.5/6.0 on Windows platforms
from Win98 onwards excluding Windows XP. This vulnerability
does not directly affect the operation of any of the Client
/ Admin or Server software, but does leave the PC open to
abuse especially for users who browse the Internet from machines
also running SoftEFT WinTI or ICP client software. Further
