Coronavirus Advice & Tips

In order to protect yourself, your customers and your business it is important to follow the official advice being provided. Read on for some guidelines provided by our suppliers and the government.

How should I disinfect my touch screen?

Unplug all cables and turn off your hardware or make sure on-screen software can tolerate false touches while you clean.
Dampen a new clean, non-abrasive cloth with Isopropyl alcohol (<= 70% alcohol). Ensure excess liquid is squeezed from the cloth or using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, gently wipe the hard, nonporous surfaces
Avoid getting moisture in openings.
Note: Your touch screen has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic—oil repellent—coating. Cleaning products and abrasive materials will further diminish the coating and might scratch your touch screen.

What policies do I need in place for my store?

Regulate entry so that the premises do not become overcrowded.
Use floor markings inside the commercial spaces to facilitate compliance with the social distancing advice of 2 metres, particularly in the most crowded areas, such as serving counters and tills.
Place plexiglass barriers at tills and counters if feasible, as an additional element of protection for workers and customers.
Encourage the use of contactless payments where possible, without disadvantaging older or vulnerable customers.
Provide additional pop-up handwashing stations or facilities if possible, providing soap, water and hand sanitiser.
