Dwr Cymru Welsh Water have awarded the contract to supply an EPOS solution initially to 3 sites at Llyn Brenig- North Wales, Elan Valley- Mid Wales and Llys-y-Fran-South West Wales. Another site may be added in 2013 in Llandegfedd-South Wales.

IPOS chose long term software partner ECR Concepts Software Ltd to work with on this project as they are ideally placed in Pontypridd to service the contract. ECR also have many years experience in supplying Visitor Centres with complete EPOS systems with chip&pin.

ECR's Poswyse software was installed in head office to control the remote sites and provide stock control and central reporting. ECR was able to develop specific features requested by DCC which included the printing of fishing permits.

IPOS supplied Tysso Zenis touch screen POS terminals with 8.4" customer screens which suits both retail and hospitality environments.The EPOS system included retail scanning using Tysso omni-directional scanners and touch screen hospitality EPOS with kitchen printing at each site. ECR liaised with Cap Gemini to plan the implementation of the system.
