International POS offer a wide range of bar code scanning and hand held bar code scanning products including CCD, laser and omnidirectional scanners. Laser bar code scanners provide a higher quality solution than CCD scanners. Laser scanners provide a greater level of accuracy and will in general read 'first time' more times than a CCD scanner. In addition omnidirectiional scanners are available that will read the barcode when the bar code is presented at multiple angles.
