The rp5700 has been designed specifically for use in a retail Point-Of-Sale environment. It offers a small footprint with features designed for Point-Of-Sale including 4 selectable powered serial ports, 6 USB ports including 12v and 24v powered, integrated ethernet, integrated audio and 2 full height, half length PCI expansion slots. The rp5700 can be supplied with a full range of EPOS peripherals powered directly from the EPOS PC including bar code scanner, EPOS printer, cash drawer, customer display and choice of keyboard designed for Point-Of-Sale use.

Lifecycle Management

The HP rp5700 has a very long (60 month) lifecycle; which gives you less product transitions and less hardware and software configurations to support. This helps lessen disruption to your business and minimizes the cost. When change is inevitable, HP Product Change Notification provides up to 60 days advanced notification before the change happens.

If you're not ready to change your OS, the rp5700 supports Windows 2000, XP Pro, and Windows Business Vista 32 bit.
